The Vaccination At Home service, introduced as a noble initiative for immunization, is intended to administer inoculation to ensure timely prevention against critical or life-threatening diseases. Part of the advanced preventive healthcare practices, the vaccines administered under the provision includes BCG Bacillus Galmette Guerin, DT Diphtheria toxoid and tetanus toxoid, DTwP Diphtheria, tetanus toxoid, whole cell pertussis, DTaP Diphtheria, tetanus toxoid, acellular pertussis, HAV Hepatitis A vaccine, Td Tatanus toxoid with reduced diphtheria, HBV Hepatitis B vaccine, MMR Measles mumps and rubella, OPV Oral poliovirus vaccine, PGV Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, TT Tatanus toxoid, as well as the Influenza, Meningococcal, Japanese encephalitis, Cholera, Rabies, Yellow Fever, Pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccines necessary for high-risk clinical conditions. Besides the necessary vaccines for critical conditions, the recently included vaccines Covishield and Covaxin are also administered as preventive doses for COVID-19.
